ReaderCrate Community Guidelines
Welcome to the ReaderCrate Community
💛 Core Values & Tone
ReaderCrate is built on a foundation of warmth, inclusivity, and excitement for cozy mysteries. Our members love discovering new authors, sharing bookish treats, and connecting over twisty plots.
Every interaction should reflect our small-town, book club vibe — think gratitude, curiosity, and genuine care for one another.
📚 Guidelines for Respectful & Engaging Discussions
- Treat every member with kindness and respect, whether you’re discussing a book or sharing personal stories.
- Disagreements are natural, but always keep the tone friendly and constructive—debate the plot, not the person!
- Welcome new members with open arms and help them feel part of the cozy community from day one.
- Keep conversations inclusive—avoid inside jokes or references that could make others feel left out.
👩💻 Encouraging Author & Reader Participation
- Authors are an essential part of our club—ask thoughtful questions, share your appreciation, and celebrate their work!
- Readers: don’t hesitate to share your thoughts, theories, or favorite moments. We love hearing every perspective.
- Promote live Q&As, book discussions, and behind-the-scenes chats to keep everyone engaged.
🕵️♀️ Handling Spoilers & Sensitive Topics
- Always use a clear spoiler warning before discussing big plot twists or endings.
- Be mindful of sensitive topics; if in doubt, ask a moderator first.
- Respect everyone’s reading pace and avoid pressuring others to finish quickly.
✨ Moderation & Support
- Moderators are here to help—reach out with any questions or concerns.
- If you see behavior that doesn’t fit our cozy standards, report it privately so we can address it with care.
- Feedback is always welcome! We’re constantly looking for ways to make the club even more inviting.
